The newly constructed Sigma Park Handlowy in Darłowo LIDL supermarket will launch its latest concept grocery store. The store will occupy over 1,800 square meters and is scheduled to open next year.

The presence of Lidl as one of the anchor tenants significantly elevates the overall investment. The chain is one of the largest and most recognizable retail operators in Europe, and its stores have enjoyed significant customer popularity for years thanks to its wide range of grocery and household goods products, as well as regular promotional campaigns. The new store in Darłowo will be one of the chain's most modern facilities in the region.

"Acquiring such a strong partner as Lidl confirms the commercial potential of Darłowo and the entire Sigma Park project. The presence of a well-known grocery brand will be a key factor in attracting customers from both the city and surrounding towns, as well as tourists visiting the region," emphasizes Maciej Mazur, President of the Management Board of Mallson Polska.

Sigma Park Handlowy is being built on a 5-hectare site purchased by the investor at the end of last year. In the first phase, approximately 20 stores of well-known brands and food outlets will be built. Chains such as Media Expert, CCC, and Pepco have recently decided to join the project, and lease agreements with other well-known brands are being finalized. The size of the site allows for further expansion in subsequent phases. It will also allow for the creation of a recreational area in the form of a playground, as well as space for various events such as concerts, fairs, and more – providing attractions for thousands of vacationers and generating additional revenue for tenants.

As part of the project, an agreement was also signed to sell part of the site to a well-known international restaurant operator, which will open a drive-thru restaurant. This will be the only location of this chain in the region, further enhancing the attractiveness of the project and attracting customers from surrounding towns.

Tenants will also include Polish and international brands from the fashion, sports, drugstore, footwear, household appliances, and fitness industries. Hundreds of parking spaces are planned for drivers, ensuring convenient access to the entire complex.

Sigma Park will be the first modern retail park in Darłowo. It will be built near the city center, hotels, and beaches, yet also near one of the main roundabouts and the entrance to the city, directly on National Road No. 37. Darłowo and its surrounding area are visited by over half a million tourists annually, and until now, the area has lacked a modern retail offering.

The facility is scheduled to open in the middle of next year.

The project's investor is a special-purpose vehicle whose main shareholder is Jerzy Olszewski – an entrepreneur associated with the maritime tourist transport industry on the Polish coast – with existing and planned retail projects in northern Poland, with a total leasable area of ​​approximately 50,000 m².

The design was prepared by ALFA Pracownia Projektowa from Legnica. Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane Paweł Skórawicz is the general contractor for the project.

Mallson Polska is responsible for the overall commercial concept of the project, including the retail leasing strategy.
