McDonald's will become a key part of the new retail park project, located on the border of Karpacz and Miłków, at the intersection of the Szklarska Poręba-Kowary and Jelenia Góra-Karpacz roads. The global QSR brand has purchased a plot of land located at the main entrance to the development site and will develop a free-standing drive-thru restaurant. Construction of the restaurant is already at an advanced stage, with the opening planned for later this year.

The land sale transaction was brokered by Mallson, which was also responsible for the project's concept and commercialization.

The largest regional retail park in the highest part of the Sudetes opened at the end of August 2025. Its convenient location, as well as bus stops and a train stop on the revitalized Jelenia Góra-Karpacz line, facilitate access to the facility not only for tens of thousands of residents of nearby towns and villages, but also for the several million tourists who visit the Karkonosze Mountains annually. The rapidly expanding hotel infrastructure and major investments, such as in modern ski lifts, are steadily increasing the attractiveness of this region and increasing the number of foreign tourists – including Germans, Czechs, and Slovaks, who often account for more than half of the occupancy in the region's hotels.

The retail park, with approximately 16,000 square meters of leasable space, offers 30 shops, service outlets, and restaurants. Customers can use a large parking lot with several hundred comfortable parking spaces. The food operator is Lidl, and other tenants operating at Przystanek Karkonosze include HalfPrice, New Yorker, Douglas, Apart, Martes Sport, Sinsay, Ochnik, CCC, Rossmann, Worldbox, Action, Diverse, Media Expert, TEDi, Pepco, 4F, Wojas, Berlin Doner Kebap, and So Coffee!.

The developer of Przystanek Karkonosze was REDKOM Development. The project was created by Artside Architekci studio based on a commercial concept prepared by Mallson Polska, which was also responsible for the facility's lease.
