Przystanek Karkonosze - building permit of the largest retail park in the Karkonosze Mountains!

Przystanek Karkonosze - the largest regional retail park in the highest part of the Sudetes - has obtained a valid building permit.

Przystanek Karkonosze will be located on the provincial road No. 366 at the intersection of the routes leading to Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Kowary and Jelenia Góra.

The convenient location, as well as bus stops and a railway stop of the revitalized Jelenia Góra - Karpacz line, will facilitate access to the facility not only for several dozen thousand inhabitants of nearby towns and villages, but also for several million tourists who visit the Karkonosze Mountains every year. There are already periods when tourist visits are higher than in the capital of the Tatra Mountains, and the rapidly expanding hotel base and large investments, e.g. in modern ski lifts, result in a constant increase in the attractiveness of this region and an increasingly higher number of foreign tourists - including: Germans, Czechs and Slovaks, who often constitute more than half of the bed occupancy in hotels in the region.

Retail park with over 17,000 sq m. of leasable area will offer approximately 40 shops, a supermarket of one of the largest food chains, service and catering outlets, a drive restaurant of a well-known brand and a specially designed area for cyclical artistic, cultural and entertainment events as well as thematic fairs popular in that region. Customers will be provided with a large parking lot with comfortable - much wider than standard - parking spaces.

The project will open in spring 2025.

The investor is an experienced investor and investment banker from Jelenia Góra - Artur Kozieja, who in the years 1995 - 2017 worked as an investment director, among others, at Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital in the City of London.

He is the founder of the Europlan Group - operating for 17 years on the residential construction market (2,500 apartments completed in Warsaw and Kraków and approximately 400 apartments and houses currently under construction in Jelenia Góra), office construction (20,000 m2 in Warsaw) and hotel construction (Metropolo by Golden Tulip in Warsaw, Lake Hill Resort&Spa in Sosnówka, Raddisson Blu in Ostróda, Sanssouci in Karpacz, Campanile in Warsaw and Movenpick in Zakopane).

The architect of the project is the Artside Architekci design office from Jelenia Góra. Mallson Polska is responsible for the commercial concept and lease.
