Empik among the tenants of Plac Wiślany in Warsaw!
Plac Wiślany is consistently expanding its shopping and service offerings to meet the needs of this dynamically developing part of Warsaw. Empik, a brand long recognized by customers as a place combining culture, entertainment, and inspiration for the whole family, joins the tenant roster of the investment in Warsaw's Siekierki district. The modern Empik store will operate in an area of approximately 230 square meters.
Empik's presence in Plac Wiślany perfectly aligns with the project's commercialization strategy, which aims to create a modern center for everyday shopping and local gatherings. The new store will be a key element of the offerings, enriching them with a cultural and lifestyle function. The store's offerings will meet the expectations of customers seeking literature, music, education, stationery, and creative accessories, as well as those interested in multimedia. Empik stores today are a place that brings together different generations of customers – from children and teenagers to adults seeking inspiration, entertainment, and practical everyday solutions.
Siekierki is currently one of the fastest-growing parts of Warsaw. The rapid expansion of residential developments and the ever-increasing population mean the district needs modern retail and service options close to home. Plac Wiślany is being built at the intersection of Aleja Polski Walcząca and Batalionu AK "Bałtyk" Streets, providing convenient access for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.
Numerous residential developments are located in the immediate vicinity of the development, with more currently under construction. This will make Plac Wiślany a local hub for everyday shopping, services, and socializing for thousands of residents in this part of the city.
Plac Wiślany will offer over 30 stores and service outlets from well-known brands, along with restaurants. Biedronka will open its latest grocery store concept. The facility will also feature brands such as Action, Media Expert, Smyk, dm drugstore, and Sinsay. Customers will be able to meet for coffee and relax at Green Caffè Nero, which will open a cozy and spacious 200-square-meter café within the development.
The center will be distinguished by its modern architecture – with ample natural light, spacious passageways, and comfortable shopping space. A social function will also be a key element of the project. Plac Wiślany is intended to integrate the local community through events, activities, and offerings tailored to various customer groups.
Access to the development will be exceptionally convenient. Drivers will benefit from underground parking and a convenient road network with quick access to the Siekierkowska Route. Public transportation stops and bicycle parking are planned at the facility's entrances.
An additional advantage will be a park located immediately adjacent to the facility's entrance, creating a welcoming space for relaxation and spending time outdoors surrounded by greenery.
Construction of the development is already underway, and Plac Wiślany is scheduled to open in mid-2027.
The project's investor is APM Development, a company with long-standing relationships in the real estate and construction sectors. Since 2003, the company has been implementing projects throughout Warsaw – including numerous housing developments in the Siekierki district. The architectural design was prepared by the AT Group design studio. Mallson Polska is responsible for the commercial concept of Plac Wiślany and the leasing of its space.
