Hajnówka with a modern retail park - Sekunda is developing in Podlasie!
Preparations have begun for the construction of a modern retail park operating under the SEKUNDA brand in Hajnówka.
The project is consistent with the strategy of creating modern retail and service facilities in medium-sized and smaller towns, where access to modern retail space remains limited. The development is being built on 3 Maja Street in the city center, directly adjacent to a Lidl store and near Aquapark and Biedronka. The new retail park is designed to meet the everyday needs of residents of Hajnówka and the surrounding area, offering a wide selection of shops and services in one convenient location. The development will encompass nearly 12,000 m² of gross leasable area (GLA), which will house approximately 20 retail and service units from well-known chains.
A modern shopping space for residents of the region
SEKUNDA in Hajnówka will be a modern retail park with an attractive tenant mix, including well-known brand stores and services catering to the everyday needs of customers. The facility's format was designed with convenience and functionality in mind, providing residents with easy access to a wide range of retail offerings in one place.
The investment includes nearly 400 convenient parking spaces. Thanks to its convenient location and carefully planned infrastructure, the retail park will be easily accessible to both city residents and customers from surrounding towns.
The facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2027.
The project will bring numerous benefits to the local community. The project will create new jobs – both during the construction phase and during the facility's subsequent operation. The investment will also contribute to infrastructure development and increase the attractiveness of Hajnówka as a regional retail and service center. The new retail park has the potential to become a significant development stimulus for the city and region, strengthening the local economy.
SEKUNDA Brand Development Strategy
The Quantum/Vanstar Group, an investor and owner of modern retail properties, is responsible for the development of SEKUNDA projects. The company consistently expands its commercial property portfolio, focusing on locations with high development potential. The group's strategy involves developing modern retail parks in regional cities, where demand for high-quality retail and service space is growing. Further investments are planned over the next two to three years. The brand's success is driven by consistency and an effective commercialization model.
The Sekunda Shopping Center in Jędrzejów is already operating. It opened in 2021, offering over 16,000 square meters of retail space featuring popular fashion, footwear, drugstore, and service brands. Expansion of the facility with a new retail park and additional units from well-known chains will begin soon, bringing the retail complex in Jędrzejów to over 26,000 square meters of leasable space. SEKUNDA is currently under construction in Włoszczowa. The retail park, with approximately 12,000 square meters of GLA, will feature approximately 25 stores and 400 parking spaces, and is scheduled to open in July 2026. Tenants include Lidl, Sinsay, CCC, Rossmann, Media Expert, Martes Sport, Empik, KIK, Pepco, TEDi, Worldbox, Action, and New Yorker. The investor also announces the development of additional projects under the SEKUNDA brand, including in Bystrzyca Kłodzka.
