The seaside town of Darłowo will gain modern retail and service space. SIGMA Retail Park will meet the needs of both residents and hundreds of thousands of tourists. It will open before the summer holidays next year.

The project is entering its next phase of implementation. The final land purchase transaction took place at the end of last year. Phase I of the over 5-hectare plot will provide approximately 12,000 square meters of leasable space, and the size of the site allows for expansion in subsequent phases – ensuring that it will be the largest retail project in the region.

An architect has also been selected – the renowned ALFA architectural studio, whose portfolio includes retail parks developed by companies such as Karuzela and Redkom, is responsible for the design.

The general contractor for Sigma Park is Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane Paweł Skórawicz, a company operating continuously in the Polish market since 1986. The company has built over 320 discount grocery stores, more than a dozen retail parks, numerous warehouses and production halls, housing estates, banks, and schools.

An agreement has also been signed to sell part of the land to a global restaurant giant, which will open a drive-thru restaurant. This will be the chain's only location in the region, attracting additional customers from nearby coastal towns.

The grocery store, in its latest concept, will house the most recognizable grocery discount store. Polish and international brands from various industries will open their stores: fashion, sportswear, drugstores, footwear, home appliances, and fitness, providing a comprehensive offering for tourists and customers from across the region. The first lease agreements are currently being finalized.

For those traveling by car, the center will provide several hundred convenient parking spaces.

The project's key advantage is its location – it will be the only retail park in Darłowo, close to the city center, a cluster of hotels, and beaches, yet located near one of the main roundabouts and the main entrance to the city, directly on National Road No. 37. Over half a million tourists visit Darłowo and the surrounding area annually, and to date, the city lacks any modern retail space, making this location exceptionally attractive for shopping.

The investor is a special-purpose vehicle whose main shareholder is Jerzy Olszewski – a leader in the tourist ship transportation industry on the Polish coast, who also owns existing and planned retail facilities in northern Poland with a total leasable area of ​​approximately 50,000 square meters.

Negotiations are also being finalized regarding the purchase of Sigma Park Handlowy by one of Poland's largest funds investing in retail parks.
