Warsaw Siekierki with Biedronka in Plac Wiślany!
A new Biedronka store will open in Warsaw's Siekierki district. The discount store will occupy 1,260 square meters and will become one of the anchor tenants of Plac Wiślany – a modern retail and service complex designed to meet the needs of the dynamically developing neighborhood. Biedronka, in its newest format, will offer residents a wide selection of groceries and everyday items at attractive prices.
Siekierki is part of Mokotów and is currently one of the fastest-growing parts of Warsaw. New housing developments are being rapidly developed here, road and service infrastructure is being expanded, and the population is steadily growing.
Thanks to the facility's extensive offerings, residents of this district will no longer be forced to travel to distant shopping centers to meet their basic needs. In addition to a grocery store, Plac Wiślany will offer over 30 stores of well-known chain brands, as well as service and food outlets.
The facility is being built in a prime location – at the intersection of Aleja Polski Walcząca and ul. Batalionu AK Bałtyk. Access to Plac Wiślany will be very convenient for customers. Drivers will be able to reach it quickly via the two-lane Aleja Polski Walcząca (Polish Fighting Avenue), which connects with Trasa Siekierkowska (Siekierkowska Route), and will benefit from convenient underground parking. Thousands of customers will be able to walk to Plac Wiślany in just a few minutes from their apartments located in the numerous housing estates surrounding the facility – both existing and those under rapid development. For other customers, public transportation stops are located at the entrances to Plac Wiślany, and bicycle parking is planned.
The project will feature modern architecture, abundant natural light, and wide, comfortable walkways, providing an attractive space for comfortable shopping and leisure. Furthermore, Plac Wiślany will become a place that brings residents together and focuses on the district's cultural and social life – thanks to various planned events, artistic performances, and children's activities.
Due to the fact that the area around Plac Wiślany is largely inhabited by young families with children, the developer decided to create a park directly opposite the entrance to the building. This will provide residents of this part of Warsaw with an additional attraction, allowing them to spend time outdoors and enjoy the abundance of greenery in such a densely built-up area.
The building permit became final a few weeks ago, and work is now underway. The opening is scheduled for spring 2027.
Mallson Polska is responsible for the commercial concept of Plac Wiślany and the leasing of its space. The architectural design was prepared by the AT Group design studio.
The investor is APM Development, a company with long-standing relationships in the real estate and construction sectors. Since 2003, the company has been implementing projects throughout Warsaw, including numerous housing developments in Siekierki.
